i want to be where the people are. languidly lying across the slowly decaying steps of the old theater. Taylor had been there since before dawn, and the lack of sleep was just beginning to catch up with her. A diamond studded locket rocked between her fingers as she continually fumbled with it. How many times have I read this page? she wondered. Page thirty-eight. Romeo and Juliet. Over and over and over again. Now she knew she was really starting to loose it. She had read the same thing over and over and over again for the past ten minutes. She sighed and closed the book, setting it on the stage beside her. She pursed her lips and rolled over, her dress fluttering against her thighs. Hardly anyone ever came in here. Except her. Taylor was a regular to the musty theater. Sometimes she'd come just to stare at the ceiling, which portrayed a cracked mural of children with wings and togas flying from place to place. Up there there were no difference. Everyone was one and the same. There were no windows in the theater, so it didn't remind her of the blustery weather outside. Her blonde hair pooled around her head like a burning halo. Behind her one of the stage doors clicked shut. She sat up with a start, blood rushed to her head and she gave a small, almost inaudible moan. She dug the heel of her palm into her temple, her aquamarine eyes scoured the darkness. With her other hand she slowly grabbed her book as self-defense, though she knew it couldn't possible help much. Her fingers slipped as they tried to wrap themselves around the spine of the novel, her palms roiled in nervous sweat. Rarely did anyone go into a secluded place such as this with good intentions.[/blockquote] i want to see, want to see them dancing. ace smiled as he enterred the room. Musty as it was there were still traces that this place could be beautiful. But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun! He quoted Romeo and Juliet with a smile, his austrailian accent swaying in grace. His hands were shoved away in his ebony hoody. He thought he was clever, yes indeed he did. H e, as a goth, was rather found of all poetry. Especially Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe, in fact it fascinated him greatly to read their work time and time again Tags; Taylor Amy Crow Word Count; 200 Music; None Outfit; Black hoody, black jeans. i want to be where the people are. Taylor stood up. She let go of her book and it slithered down her skirt and hit the floor, brushing against her ankles. Her jaw clenched slightly. 'You know Shakespeare.' she tried to keep her voice aloof. Her cheeks burned. Most of her friends didn't even know where she went when she vanished like this, much less a stranger from a different group. She swallowed the steadily growing lump in her throat. 'I'm Taylor. Crow.' she held out her clammy hand out of instinct, but when her brain caught up to her reflexes she felt the urge to pull it back. She took in his dark clothes without blinking in surprise. Just my luck... [/blockquote] i want to see, want to see them dancing. ace smiled at her. Despite the popular belief that he was evil, he was really a pretty swell guy. Yes ma'am, my mother was a literature teacher, He replied, answerring her question. i want to be where the people are. 'How interesting.' This was going nowhere. She pulled her hand back politely. 'I would have loved to grown up with someone who knew about literature. My parents...' she stopped. She hardly knew this person, and she wasn't about to share her life story with him. She bent and picked up her book, carefully smoothing some of its crippled and warped pages. i want to see, want to see them dancing. Jace let his hand fall to his side, watching carefully how she handled the book. Well my mom was the only parent that I really had,
he admitted with a laugh. He wasn't secretive, in fact he had been raised to think that secrets prevented friendship. How long have you been here? He asked, meaning of course the highschool itself. The sophmore boy bit his lower lip to keep from saying anything else, he had issues keeping quiet... Which was strange for him being a goth and all. i want to be where the people are. Taylor blinked in slow surprise at his openness. She smiled sadly, resting the book against her hip. 'Sadly, I've been here my whole high school life. I'm a senior this year.' she lifted the book and then let it fall back into its old position like a sign of defeat. 'My parents are snobs. I was cared for by nursemaids my whole life, I get to see them more now when I visit home in Crete.' she said freely, feeling like paying him back for his blatant truthfulness. 'Where's home for you?' i want to see, want to see them dancing. Jace nodded. Home?
he asked. He had never really had a home before, or one that was permenant. His parents had always been moving to where the work was, even when he was a little child. He rememberred no dominant home. Well, I lived in Texas for a long time before I moved here and my parent's dumped me into this god-forsaken school. He mumbled, feeling less sure of himself now than ever before. Girls weren't a thing that scared him, but making conversation about his past with one was worse than having an awkward talk with his mom. [/blockquote][/blockquote] ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^W O R D S: 5 2 3 -CODES INCLUDED A T T I R E: BLACK HOODY AND BLACK JEANS T A G: Taylor Amy Crow N O T E S: None C R E D I T: Bphoenix of BLANKPAGES

[ehh... I'm too lazy to put in the code.]
Taylor stared back at him. A blonde ringlet fell across her face, and she hurriedly brushed it away. Finally, a pleased smile spread over her face. She almost laughed. 'God-forsaken indeed.' she said with flourish, she glanced up at the peeling ceiling. The aisles were marked with the soles of her shoes, no one had seemed to dust in here for years. In the dim lighting she made out several cobwebs. The lights themselves had obviously once been something to marvel over, but had been removed and replaced by bare bulbs. She sighed. 'Its almost sad, really. What a great place this school could've been.' Taylor tensed. She had said too much. Far too much. No one knew of her ambitions. Everyone wanted out of this place for the most part. Taylor prayed over it everyday, and she had never really been a devoted religious character. She had only been in a church once for a friend's wedding.

Jace looked at her quizzically. You want a good education?
He asked, going off assumption because of her comment. When I was little this school was lovely, beautiful... A work of art. Look at it now, He whisperred. He was slightly disappionted with the mess the once lovely school had become. Alls it needed was a few mice and it'd be perfect as a haunted house. [/blockquote][/blockquote] ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^W O R D S: 4 8 8 -CODES INCLUDED A T T I R E: BLACK HOODY AND BLACK JEANS T A G: Taylor Amy Crow N O T E S: None C R E D I T: Bphoenix of BLANKPAGES
